I am writing this in the new Firefox extension “Scribefire”. Now I can blog from anywhere. So, much goings on this spring. Alisha’s dad Phil got a new pace maker in February and is doing much better. He is 100% dependent on the device and it was well past it’s lifetime. Krysten came down during the ordeal and we all celebrated her and Jackie’s birthdays.
Maddy and I went to the Kite festival at Zilker Park with some friends (Kate, Chris and Abby) in the beginning of March, then Maddy had a special field trip to the UT football stadium. It was my first time there and it was so awesome. I got to run the field and Maddy ran it 3 times. We also toured the trophy room and looked in on the weight room. Near the end of March we took a trip down to Houston to visit and pick up my mom who was there on a business trip. We swam in a pool on the 25th floor of the Hilton downtown and went to the Houston Zoo to see the meerkats. It was really cool!
We also did a lot of planting around the house putting in some Texas Mountain Laurels, cyclamens and other colorful plants. Things are growing great now and sometime over the next week we hope to get the “Bluebonnet” photos taken.
