About every other year we get snow, sleet, freezing rain, and or an ice storm.  It rarely lasts more than a few hours and it is even more rare for things to stick and stay.  Today it hit 80F around 2pm then plummeted all afternoon till about 8pm when the sleet started.  By 9pm we hit 32F and it has been snowing since then.  Yes, my numbers are correct.  50 degree drop in 7 hours.  Of course the snow isn’t sticking, but Madison and I had a slushy snowball fight around 9pm.  She was giggling like a little school girl…wait, she is a little school girl.  I guess that is where the phrase came from.

Cheers to the rest of you who get snow every winter.  I miss it and fall foliage from Indiana.  But when I am out working in the yard on New Years Day…I forget all about those things.
